We spent a week entertaining and being entertained by our four granddaughters who left for home yesterday. We also had time for the gang to get together with Sue's brother's and sister's family here in the Phoenix area so it was a full week.
It was great having them and now it is time for grandma and grampa to relax for a few days before Sue heads for Minnesota for five days with her niece Wendy and Jeff starts remodeling the front cabinet of the motorhome to hold a larger flat screen TV.Life here is a different life style for us. Sue is usually up long before Jeff and headed to the heated pool for an aerobic work out. We have quite a few friends here so there is always a party or getting together for a meal planned.
Jeff played a couple of rounds of golf with SIL Roger last week and has another round scheduled Tuesday with Gary Smith, another RVing friend who we knew in Seattle. We also have tickets to see the New Christy Minstrels here at Happy Trails in a couple of weeks. (That should really date us!) Jeff has rejoined the HT Genealogy Club and Sue is signed up for a pottery painting class in a couple of weeks.We leave for Quartzsite on the 20th for a week so before long another month will have flown quickly by.
