September in Washington

We spent last weekend on the Oregon coast in Tillamook and Netarts. The 5 Capes area is a beautiful area of central Oregon with bays full of great crab and oyster beds.

The drive back to the Seattle area Sunday was along the coast on US101, a very scenic drive up the coast, across the mouth of the Columbia at Astoria, Oregon and up the Washington coast to Aberdeen, through Olympia to Seattle.

We are now parked at Cedar Shores RV Park on the shores of Lake Goodwin in Stanwood WA, 6 miles west of Arlington and our old home. It is a peaceful location and the park is less than half full this time of year.

We have repairs scheduled for the CRV beginning next week and Sue leaves for Illinois so the Tradewinds will be parked for a few weeks. his is the first chance we have had to slow down and catch up since moving out of the house last month. We will have time to get settled and ready to travel this winter.
