Day 40 La Bufadora and Other Stops

This morning was a great start to a beautiful day! A walk along the waterfront also was the first order of the day and then we loaded up for a trip around Ensenada.First stop was La Bufadora (The Blowhole) around the south edge of the Bay. La Bufadora is one of three blowholes around the world and is locally known as the Bull's Snort. It is a small town that is really a local stop for all tourist off the cruise ships and other tours. To get to the blowhole itself means threading through all the vendors of food, arts, and curios.
We then traveled downtown for a tour of the waterfront including the Ensenada Civic Center (and its bar for some). Next was lunch in the shopping district which we were sharing with a lot of students here for Spring break! Many come to Ensenada on low price 4 day cruise ships from California while others drive the short two hours from the border.
We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing, washing vehicles and getting ready for our last informal happy hour. Pat created a beautiful DVD of the trip that we watched and that everyone will receive a copy of before we leave. Several of us then went back downtown for dinner, got back at the end of a beautiful sunset, and headed to bed.

Tomorrow is a day of shopping and our farewell dinner.
