Christmas Eve 2006

After spending years in the Midwest 82 degree temps still feel out of place for Christmas but here is one way to celebrate Christmas. Emily really enjoyed the afternoon on Kailua Beach and Grandpa used up all his memory cards!

Just north of Kailua is Chinaman's Hat Island that is one of the many landmarks along the NE coast of Oahu that we saw as we explored just a small part of the Island's coast.

After all the shopping is done and the presents wrapped there are still a few things to wrap up like building the Gingerbread House. Emy is ready to help by eating the candy BEFORE it gets on the house.

As sunset falls over Diamond Head and we head out to dinner we wish you all a Merry Christmas from Hawaii.
