Warm & Sunny Florida

We have been staying at Live Oaks RV Resort in Arcadia Forida for the past two and a half weeks enjoying the delightful weather. The temps have been in the mid 70s to the low 80's and interrupted by a two day period of showers.

After spending Thanksgiving with the folks and their friends from Vermont we drove up to Bradenton on Friday and celebrated Thanksgiving again with Colleen and Jim Collins (Jeff's cousin) who delayed their turkey a day waiting for their daughter-in-law to arrive from Europe.
Sue left for Chicago last Thursday to await the new addition to the Strausberger family and this morning it was 3 degrees with fresh snow on the ground. No baby yet! Granddad may be a little late getting to Chicago if the temps stay near zero!

The 7th of December is Jeff's dad's 83rd birthday which will be celebrated with a round of golf and dinner at his favorite restaurant We can all hope we're able to do that when our 83rd rolls around.

Jeff is leaving this weekend for Gaffney South Carolina where the Freightliner RV chassis is built to have the m/h serviced and checked out before heading to Chicago for Christmas and Arizona for the rest of the winter. He will get a chance to stop in and see old friends John and Martha Steele while in South Carolina.
