New Year's Eve (Eve)

2005 Travel Map

As you can see we covered a lot of miles this year while Jeff was still working. New Year's will find us in Branson Missouri with friends from Seattle, Stan and Marilyn Deblieck. We are working our way southwest to warmer climes and plan to be in Arizona later in January.

2005 has certainly been eventful. After the flying (RV) trip to Maine and back in July and several trips around the Northwest we left Seattle for good on the 22nd of October to begin another very busy trip to Florida and back to Illinois for Christmas. We have had a great time seeing friends and family but this is not a pace we want to maintain. Hopefully the rest of January and February will give us a chance to slow down and smell the roses!

After a lovely Christmas with Laurie, Roger, Payton, and baby Ella we drove down to Peoria to pick up the m/h that was left with Byerly Aviation for some minor fibeglass repair. They did a beautiful job and also kept the Tradewinds inside through the freezing holiday. While there we were visiting old friends when a neighbor's guest backed out of their driveway into the new door on the CRV we had replaced this summer! The driver has had his insurance company acknowlege his responsability and we will have it repaired again in Phoenix next month.

Next stop will be Sante Fe and Albequeque New Mexico to sightsee and meet old friends from Peoria, the Ramshaws. We will then stop in Mesa to see Sue's sister and head for Quartzite for a large RV rally and to thaw out!

Our Happy New Year wishes go out to everyone.
