Chicago For Christmas

A week ago it was warm sunny Florida-what a change! We are at our daughter Laurie's in Plainfield enjoying cuddling baby Ella and spoiling her older sister Payton while getting ready for Christmas. It will definitly be a white one!

Sue arrived here two weeks ago to be her for the arrival and Jeff arrived on the 15th. He stopped at Gaffney SC to have the m/h serviced at the Freightliner factory and to see old friends John & Martha Steele from our central Illinois days.

Before leaving Florida Jeff & his dad got a chance to fly over to Sebring Florida with Mark Twombly, a friend and aviation writer who wrote the Flight Levels magazine for Twin Commander. Mark owns a Piper Aztec, a model that Jeff sold and flew back in the late 1960's and 1970's. He got to make the first Aztec landing he had made in 35 years and got away with it! Thanks Mark!

We will be here until sometime after Christmas and then will be headed southwest to Arizona for a couple of months before flying out to Hawaii to see daughter Jami, Dan and our Hawaiian Princess, granddaughter Emily.

Happy Holidays!
