After two very busy weeks we are enjoying a relaxing weekend seeing Bob & Ann Carnell in Ormand Beach Florida. Bob and Jeff served on the NATA board together in the late eighties and the Carnells have been retired here for the past 15 years. The day was very slow-paced, we managed lunch, laundry, and sitting around discussing days gone bye with the Carnells.
The week in Tampa and this past week in Orlando were a whirlwind. The two aviation shows are two of the big three in the general aviation industry and included seeing many old friends, late dinners including a dinner for us in Orlando where Jeff was presented a beautiful plaque from Twin Commander and the Service Centers. The week was a final hurrah before becoming unemployed and homeless!
We will be wandering down the state of Florida to spend Thanksgiving with Jeff's parents in Charlotte Harbor before Sue flys to Chicago on the 30th to be around for grandbaby # 3's appearance in December. Jeff will follow to spend the Christmas holidays with our daughter Laaurie and her family.
