In Chicago we thought the high 80's was hot but now we've had three days of mid 90's with matching humidity!
We are parked in a beautiful county park on Lake Evergreen just north of Bloomington with Sue's brother Jerry and his wife. We have been here since Thursday for the Taylor family reunion and to visit Byerly Aviation where Jeff worked for 20 years.
Seeing Sue's family was great as it has been several years since they have gotton together to have a good time. There were family here from California, Arizona, Washington, Oklahoma,Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. As we all learn with time funerals are not the way to catch up on family goings on. Kids seem to grow up in a hurry when you are away! With the tempatures the pool got a lot of business while the rest of us looked for air conditioning.
We are leaving this morning for Vermont to pick up Jeff's folks and head for Maine. We have three days for the drive so it should be much easier than the trip from Seattle to here.
