How's this for a change of pace? My SIL Dan and I are playing Mid Pacific Golf Club on the east side of Oahu on a beautiful day in Hawaii. This work of retirement is all right!
We flew in from Phoenix last Thursday afternoon and have been enjoying the weather, our daughter Jami, granddaughter Emily, and Dan and his family. It has been a busy visit so far including UH basketball, babysitting, swimming and golf.
We just came from AZ where the Phoenix/Yuma area has not had rain for 145 days to Oahu that is suffering from floods and mudslides. Where AZ was yellow Hawaii is very green and beautiful. All we need is a looonnng bridge from the mainland for the motorhome!
We will be here until next Monday so have plenty of time to enjoy everyone and everything in the islands. It's been a great trip so far!
